Travel Match is a platform that aims to eliminate the need to toggle between multiple traveling platforms when one is traveling to a new destination.

Pros: Easy access to feedbacks, general information, and distance to other points of interest

Cons: : Most of them do not work offline.
Most of the sources are for general touristy activities and there is no real way to customize the trip for oneself

Interviews

Too many websites and apps to go through.
- They find things that otheres have done or like to do and they have to go through a lot of information in different platforms to find their own interests.
- If they know someone who lives there they always ask for tips before their visit, or if they do not know someone personally, they ask around to see if someone in their circle knows someone in that location.

The Wizard

- Uses age, sex, location of the user to determin the first question which is a match to users from the same age, urban envirnoment, etc. In the case that the data pool is too shallow / non-existence, a pool of general questions is embedded in order to get a base line.
- Followup questions use the same info plus the answers given to the previous questions.
- The grey nodes coming out of the user profile picture represent the steps left on the wizard.

Adding an Interest

- When the user chooses an interest, he / she will rate the importance of that interest.
- In turn,their choice determines how big the node is going to appear.

Progress in the Wizard

- Each interest that had been choosen and rate, will apear on the nodes.
- By defult there are three large and two medium nodes which represent the minimum number of interests users must add in order to coreate a base for matching.

- After the first five interests have been added, the “I’m done” button appears.
- When completing the interests, the nodes may look different because more interests could have been added and / or the interest might have different ratings which means different sizes for the nodes.

The Wizard

- In the case of hosts the wizard is more or less the same as the uses’ end. It uses type of service, location of the host, and basic information already added for the service to determin the first question which is a match to hosts from the same urban envirnoment, type of service etc. In the case that the data pool is too shallow / non-existence, a pool of general questions is embedded in order to get a base line.
